Mystery of the Great Swamp is a fun book for both children and adults alike. The author's choice of adjectives to describe the swamp are both effective and exciting. She does an above average job in presenting the swamp as both a haunted and beautiful landscape. The author appears to have done her research on swamp life in the Okefenokee Swamp/5(8).
