There are 25 species of macromycetes included in the Red Data Book of Altai Republic (). View full-text. Article. Full-text available.

A total of species of macromycetes and 33 species and intraspecific taxa of myxomycetes were recorded. Five species, Eocronartium muscicola, Mycena megaspora, Neobulgaria pura, Pachyella violaceonigra and Skeletocutis papyracea, were reported for the first time in Lithuania. The term mycotherapy was first coined in by the coauthor of this book, Professor Jan I. Lelley. It refers to the use of fungi and fungal substances in the prevention and treatment of health problems in humans and animals. Over the past 18 years, this form of naturopathy, which has been firmly entrenched in traditional European and Asian medicine for nearly half a century, has been.

Other European resources, such as British Ascomycetes by R.W.G. Dennis and the first volume of Nordic Macromycetes, like Seaver’s works, have limited or no images and no color photographs. Thus, I was excited to receive an e-mail announcing the publication of a new color book on British ascomycetes. G. K. The importance of the tropical situation is emphasized but five steps are suggested by which some headway can be made. The ability of switching Cited by: N-Containing compounds of macromycetes.

Abstract. This review surveys the chemical, biological, and mycological literature dealing with the isolation, structural elucidation, biological activities, and synthesis of nitrogen-containing compounds from the fruiting bodies or the culture broths of macromycetes.
